It's a little bit different
to other places in Thailand
such as Phuket nightlife and
Bangkok nightlife since
there are no go-go bars, at
this city its massage
parlors, but the final effect
is more or less the same,

time.
- Ayutthaya

are quite a lot around the
big square as it is pictured
below. They all offering
Thai massage which has some
elements of Ayurvedic , the
person doing it works on
pressure points and
circulation over the whole
body. At many massage
parlors where the guys go
this real massage is more or
less only a cover for some
hanky panky business, means
the ladies work on the body
for a while until it reaches
a certain level of the body
and start to play naturally
the guys like that and
that’s the start of the real
Thai massage. They know what
to do get the men up and
running, a special variety
is soapy massage where the
lady massages the guy with
her body, guess where this
end up.
Shops bars and
restaurants around the big
square at the new part of
the city. Most of the
entertainment places are
karaoke bars plus some kind
of nightclubs plenty of
girls hang around at
each bar. They either do the
job in the back rooms of the
parlor or just jump into the
car after some negotiation, real

The city has a large Japanese community since several big Japanese companies such as Honda have manufacturing plants at the outskirts of the city. The night means girls, bars, massage and excellent food. This is the right extension to a cultural day trip, but as we know we don't only live during the day, the real personal and pleasure life starts after eight if you are on Thailand packages or not it wont matter.

or / and massage oriented, just look at the pictures at right side, but there are also a couple of great restaurants with life music in the the same area, its something for everyone there, just right for a great trip.
One
of the reasons I write this
is, most of the hotel employees
are either don't have
any idea about the town or
are just to lazy to answer
and lie anything to get rid
of the client. I had the
following situation at the
Riverside Hotel just
opposite the railway
station. I asked, is there a
pharmacy?, (it was about 9pm
and I needed some stomach
pills).
The lady at the reception, about 40 years, born in the city, answered....no, all pharmacies close at 9 pm. After I asked are there any bars and restaurants where I could eat something and have |

some beers? answer ...no, never heard of any nightlife, this answer, as I know is
totally nonsense in Thailand, because bars and restaurants are usually everywhere, the only place until now I had a little problem to find a restaurant was in Chiang Rai in northern Thailand.
Now I went to the railway
station and asked one of
the "motocyc taxi" guys the
same, he said ok, Baht 40,-
and I bring you there.
Finally I ended up at the
major square with about 6
pharmacies open, at least a
half dozen of supermarkets
and at least 30

restaurants and bars, karaoke and hundreds of Thai bar girls working there. The next day I asked the hotel employee why she tell me such nonsense, she looked at me and got angry, |

answering how can I ask such things.
Luckily this is not an average hotel receptionist in |
|
the city usually the people are nice and cooperate with the clients. Just have a look at all this bars, nightclubs and gorgeous massage girls. Its somehow very similar to Sadao at the Malaysian border in southern Thailand.
- At every night
there are dozens of nightlife ladies and a similar amounts of Japanese guys chasing them, both are happy, that's the positive result, but that's no Thai love. To come and go use the motorbike taxi, they are faster than tuk-tuk and they wont cheat, they always tell realistic fares, actually Baht 40,- is ok for almost every distance in the city, the old and the new town. There is no public transport so there is no much choice anyway. |
